I was lucky enough to go to a high school that had a ceramic arts department. I took the class because some of my friends were in it and I heard the teacher was cool.
It was the only class that made any real sense to me back then, creating with clay. And then I found out I could go to The University of New Mexico and continue my love affair with clay.
I had no idea what a sultry lover New Mexico would be with her dusty arroyos, rose colored cliffs, and sensuous mountain shoulders baking naked in the sun.
