Thoughts from the Artist:
Tectonic as in the continental plates that we live on. Tectonic as in the plates that crash together in slow-mo creating hugh waves known as Mountains.
Elemental forces, elemental paint gestures.
Paul Klee the famous German Artist and teacher from the Bauhaus strived in the later part of his artistic career to paint with the innocence, glee, and simplicity of a child.
He's one of my Heros.
